One thing to remember is “ Nothing can be achieved without hardwork “

Life is a Race and everyone is trying to come first, so why not you be at the first. Humans have a mentality to look at the other person what they are doing and be satisfied that he is behind me so i am better, but did u everthink that there were people who were the best and Challenge the Best and not the person who is equal to you. For Ex Usian Bolt the worlds fastest man, if he would have been satisfied that he is first in the race then would he be able to beat the world record. The mindset has to change we need to go for the kill. Achieving the goal is one aspect but the path which has led to that is more fun.

Not everyone inherits a fortune they are just some lucky few, but you should always remember that what he/she gets is not important but how they are maintaining it is the most important. And there comes the Hard work.

We think that to achieve something hardwork is the most important and after getting there we just stop. That is not how it is done, if you stop working the way u used to and just sit and enjoy the sucess you will come back to the position you started from, in half the time you took to reach there.

Thats the most important aspect of life no one considers, For Ex: A Leopard kills a Deer by using up 90% of its energy, but after the kill if it takes rest without safeguarding the Kill there are a million scavengers(Hyenas, vultures . . etc) waiting for a chance to snatch the kill, so the Leopard just makes that extra effort and takes the kill up the tree and safeguards it there. And then takes some rest and enjoy’s the kill. The same way when you reach the goal you had set for yourself then dont sit back and enjoy but make it a point to safeguard your sucess.

Nature in every bit and corner gives you a lesson, its only a matter of where to look and how to look that makes the difference. Just the little extra effort by the Leopard has made it sucessfull in wading of the predators and helped it to sit and enjoy its sucess.

Another Aspect of  Hardwork is that it does not give an immediate result, You may enjoy the result of Hardwork either in a Day or it might take years to get it, but i assure you that you will get

There are times in life when you can realise that now nothing is left in your hands, and the things which you can easily accomplish just seem an impossible task like a mountain in front of you.
This is the time when you must realise that something is really out of control your Studies, your Sleep, your Food, your daily routine each and everything seem a mammoth task which seems impossible to complete.
It is not that you are not prepared to face it, but it is that you are not ready to face it head on. The only thing that you need at this point of time is Complete control over your mind and the need to increase your ability to take decisions goes up, how ever hard they may seem they have to be taken at this point after considering the consiquences and the after effects which you will be facing, after this point of time and should be followed with full commitment.
The Rule of Life
The moral i learnt from a movie and relating it to my personal life is that:
When you are in some trouble or you are in a very scary and dangerous situation, which by your position and situation seems impossible to pass over is actually a petty task, its our scared heart which is making an ant of a problem into a problem the size of an elephant. All you have to do is cheat your heart and mind that what you are facing presently is just a silly issue which can be easily solved, then you will get the power to act  skilfully and take the right decision.
This is the only thing which saperates a brave man from a scared man, the art of controlling your emotions, when you are in control of your emotions then you can just have life play at your tunes.
But if you surrender to your emotions then you will have to play according to lifes tunes.
So one has to decide which is better, making life the way u like, (or) make life turn you into one lifeless puppet dancing to its tunes.
It always helps to learn to control your emotions, which can make life a walk on cake.

A friend who changed my life

Posted: January 5, 2010 in My Life

All these years in life i never thought that a person could have so much influence on my life. After the disastrous 2009 i was dejected of life and lost interest in every aspect of life.

I never thought i could bounce back from it so fast. Then in my life came a shooting star, shooting away all my pain and dejection away from my mind. It just cleaned me of all the dirt which was on my brain making me think all nonsense.

I just felt like a man in control of life when i talk to the person, i never before had a friend like this before. I got a whole new view of life, i am beginning to look at life in a whole different way.

It is like i am back from the dead, with the zombie look on my face slowly fading away due to this friend of mine always there to give me a makeover.

Life had become so boring with the same routine going on day after day and as if it was not enough me getting into some shit or the other all the time. It had become a habit for me to bear with the problems i had and i thought that ” chalo apni zindagi mein kuch acha nahi likha hai”, Most of the time i used to think that i was carrying Shani dev (God of Bad luck) on my shoulders and spreading bad luck where ever i go. I really never had confidence in me and the circumstances around me added fuel to the fire in my head.

But then i met this person who changed it all for me, now i am a changed person i look at life in a whole different way.

Before:

i used to think that life is just Dark clouds hovering above my head which will never go away from me, and follow me where ever i go.

But Now:

I look at the silver lining of the dark clouds which is made by the bright Sun shining away to glory behind these Dark clouds.

I am looking at conquering the hardships in life and look at the Bright blue sky behind them as a hope.

This drastic change in my approach to things is only due to this special person in my life who will be special to me all my life,

No matter what situation i am in or you are in,

no matter which country you are in or i am in,

No matter in what state you are or i am,

You will always be the special person in my life and have that special place in my heart for the rest of my life.

Love you “Neetu” for all that you have done to me knowingly or unknowingly you have brought out the inner me.

The Year 2009

2009 is now my past but one day back was my present, i can say it was a year which i would never wanna remember again.

It was a totally bad phase in life with nothing good to look upto, it stated with a bad note and ended at an even worse note.

But i am looking upto 2010 to be a bright shining star in my Dark life as of now.

I am sure even if it is not going to give me good stuff i have the will now to make it good.

I should thank 2009 in one manner as it has taught me the true essence of life, it gave me a view of what life is all about. It showed me that life is not just a walk in the park but it is about how you should be able to bear the thorns in between the sweet smelling and beautiful looking flowers in your path.

I also learnt that we should not take only one aspect of life as the whole, there are many aspects in life like there are many pillars to a building. And if one Pillar breaks we should look upto the other pillars to bear the weight and stand back up again. But not to break down due to loss of just one pillar “It is hard but thats the way life goes on”

The good things that happened to me:

  1. I learnt a new thing in life, how to take control of life and not let Life control me.
  2. I also learnt that Sorrow, Agony, Pain and Failures are the part and parcel of life, and that life is not just fun, enjoyment, and success.
  3. I learnt the importance of showing my love to others, and learnt that no one can understand how much you love them when you dont show it to them.

I dont want to speak about the bad things which happened to me, because i just want to put the past aside and  will try to carry on in life. By thinking of the pain and sorrow i am not going to get any where, i will end up digging up my own grave.

But the only thing i want to tell the Eternal being is:

Please stop taking my loved ones away from me, i have had enough of it. I cannot take it anymore. Because of the loss i am having in December year after year i am fearing the next December , expecting i might loose someone else again.

Changes in Life

Life – an awesome experience which never lets you get bored as keeps throwing at you new stuff to enjoy and to feel sad for.

There was a small helpless little child who suddenly started seeing the light of Day and the darkness of the night  after being released from the heaven like prison in the womb of his/her mother.

He thought that after being released from the Prison he can enjoy the freedom but when he gave a look around there were huge ugly looking creatures staring down and talking all nonsense and making faces and i get confused wtf happened from the silent isolated neighborhood i am into this place with hairy creatures all around making wired sounds and faces and i dont know what they want from me.

I have to take whatever they do because i cannot do anything for myself now and take all this till i get back on my own legs.

After some days i realized that one creature without hair around its mouth is the one who cares more about me and responds positively to whatever i say. But i am jealous that she also cares about another creature with hair around his mouth. I am jealous of this man, whenever he comes she goes after him leaving me alone.

And after some years, i am thought that that lady is my Mother and that man is my Father and that they are the most important people in my life. And it is true i can make out that ” They devote their life to make me happy, and sacrifice many things to give me some happiness”

My life was going on happily until one day i was sent into this battle field where there were many like me, and some huge dreadful creatures(Teachers) both male and female. At the gate itself was a big scary looking guy with a stick in hand and a whistle in mouth gave a scary welcome, and i started thinking if the person at the gate is this scary what about the people inside.

Thinking of all the scary things inside, my grip of my dad’s trouser became firmer and he could feel it and took me in his arms and tried to divert my mind by talking and saying things. He was trying his best to give me confidence but i still dont understand why they are putting me through this. “I hate you people” is what i thought when we were having that dreaded wait in front of the Principals room.

All this was happening and i was helpless, i dont want it but cannot do anything about it.

Now i realize that you have to take whatever is thrown up at you by life and just enjoy the good things and turn the bad things into positive energy.

A famous saying goes like this  “Failures are the pillar stones of success” so everytime something goes the other way of what you expected just turn that into your positive energy.

So there will be many changes in life some helpful but many which are failures. It just depends on how you take it,  whether you  succumb to it or you stand against it and make it a positive sign for yourself.

Here is a collection of photographs of Hrithik roshan in his childhood, I am a huge fan of hrithik roshan so wanted to share some of his child hood pics.

Hrithik the super hero of Bollywood, was mad about building his body since childhood.

Hrithik with his dad Rakesh Roshan and his sister Sunaina enjoying time at the beach.

And now the hrithik of the present along with his beautiful wife Suzanne,

Deepavali:

A colorful festival of the Hindus that is celebrated worldwide is Deepavali (Diwali), which is also known as the festival of lights. This festival usually falls around late October and November. One important practice that the Hindus follow during the festival is to light oil lamps in their homes on Deepavali morning. By lighting the oil lamps, the Hindus are thanking the gods for the happiness, knowledge, peace and wealth that they have received. The Hindus consider Deepavali as one of the most important festivals to celebrate.

The Legend –

There is even an interesting legend behind this festival. The story goes that Narakasura, a demon, ruled the kingdom of Pradyoshapuram. Under his rule, the villagers suffered a lot of hardship as the demon tortured the people and kidnapped the women to be imprisoned in his palace. Seeing his wickedness, Lord Khrishna set out to destroy the demon and the day Narakasura died was celebrated as Deepavali, the triumph of good over evil!

Preparations –

Preparation for Deepavali starts usually at least two to three weeks before the festival. It is known that the Hindus will be busy cleaning their houses to prepare for the festival. Some would even renovate their houses to prepare it for Deepavali. Usually the family will shop for new clothes and for accessories to decorate their homes Prior to the festival, Indian shops will be selling festive items like Deepavali greeting cards, Punjabi suits and flowers. The Hindus will frequent these shops when they are shopping for Deepavali.

Celebrations –

The Hindus usually awake early in the morning of deepavali around 3am and the first ritual will be having an oil bath, which is an important feature of Deepavali. Hindus will be dressed in their new clothes on Deepavali. Most of the ladies would be clad in silk saris or Punjabi suits of various bright shades. Hindus particularly dislike dressing in black on that day, as they consider black an inauspicious color for the festival. Hindus would also pay their respects to the elderly and most families would go to the temple after having breakfast. This is also an important practice for them. The reason why they would be going to the temples is to pray to get happiness and prosperity on Deepavali. The houses would be decorated with oil lamps and children will play with firecrackers to celebrate the festival. On the first day, they would not go visiting but would stay at home to welcome the guests who visit them.

Food –

Visiting Hindus during Deepavali will be an interesting activity, as you will get to taste a wide variety of delicious food. In every home that you visit you are bound to be served with a tempting spread of sweets. Some of the popular sweets are halwa, burfi and laddu. Hindus love eating spicy food and for non-vegetarians they indulge in favorites like chicken tandoori, prawn sambal and fish head curry. In homes of Hindus who are vegetarians popular dishes like thosais, idlis and naans are prepared.

Donkey’s are generally considered stupid and the dumbest creatures on earth, but this donkey in this story has thought us what exactly life is all about:

THE STORY:

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well.
The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out
what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered
up anyway;

it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his
neighbors to come
over and help him.

They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well.

At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly.

Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later,
the farmer
finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw.

With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something
amazing.

He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal,

he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey

stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.

The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up.

Each of our troubles is a stepping stone.

We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never give up!
Shake it off and take a step up.

Vinayaka Chavathi in India.

‘Vinayak Chaturthi’ or ‘Vinayaka Chavithi’ the great Ganesha festival, also known as “Ganesh chaturthi” is celebrated by Hindus around the world as the birthday of Lord Ganesha. It is observed during the Hindu Month of Bhadra (mid-August to mid-September) and the grandest and most elaborate of them, especially in the western India state of Maharashtra, lasts for 10 days, ending on the day of ‘Ananta Chaturdashi’.

The Grand Celebration

A life-like clay model of Lord Ganesha is made 2-3 months prior to the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The size of this idol may vary from 3/4th of an inch to over 43 feet.

On the day of the festival, it is placed on raised platforms in homes or in elaborately decorated outdoor tents for people to view and pay their homage. The priest, usually clad in red silk dhoti and shawl, then invokes life into the idol amidst the chanting of mantras. This ritual is called ‘pranapratishhtha’. After this the ‘shhodashopachara’ (16 ways of paying tribute) follows. Coconut, jaggery, 21 ‘modakas’ (rice flour preparation), 21 ‘durva’ (trefoil) blades and red flowers are offered. The idol is anointed with red unguent or sandal paste (rakta chandan). Throughout the ceremony, Vedic hymns from the Rig Veda and Ganapati Atharva Shirsha Upanishad, and Ganesha stotra from the Narada Purana are chanted.

For 10 days, from Bhadrapad Shudh Chaturthi to the Ananta Chaturdashi, Ganesha is worshipped. On the 11th day, the image is taken through the streets in a procession accompanied with dancing, singing, to be immersed in a river or the sea symbolizing a ritual see-off of the Lord in his journey towards his abode in Kailash while taking away with him the misfortunes of all man. All join in this final procession shouting “Ganapathi Bappa Morya, Purchya Varshi Laukariya” (O father Ganesha, come again early next year). After the final offering of coconuts, flowers and camphor is made, people carry the idol to the river to immerse it.

The whole community comes to worship Ganesha in beautifully done tents. These also serve as the venue for free medical checkup, blood donation camps, charity for the poor, dramatic performances, films, devotional songs, etc. during the days of the festival.

There are also many varieties of ways in which ganesh pandals are decorated in the cities,

The largest ganesh in India every year is in khairtabad it always ranges between the 40-45 ft mark.
